Bye-Bye Winter Break
For the last couple of years, Ottawa University has combined Thanksgiving break with Christmas break to create an extended break. This lasts from the end of November to early January. To make up for the missed time, school here begins sooner than most other universities and spring break is shorter.
A Gym Fit for Our Campus
Ottawa University prides itself on its athletic department. The Braves Athletic Performance Center (BAPC) is proof of that. There are top of the line racks, pulleys, dumbbells, and more. However, the BAPC is not the university’s only gym.
The Hull Center gym is also available for any student to use whether they are a student-athlete looking to put in extra work or a student who isn't involved with campus athletics.
New Off-Campus Housing Available: Hasty Hall
Ottawa University welcomed the addition of a new housing option this fall. Hasty Hall, formerly the Days Inn Motel, is located off-campus on South Princeton Street. The new hall is located within walking distance to multiple popular destinations for students including Walmart, lots of restaurants, Starbucks, and Fusion Alley, the local bowling alley

It’s fall! The temperature is falling and the flu is on the rise. Fall season means flu season. The last thing we need is to get sick, especially as students and student athletes. Being healthy has two main components, protecting and taking care of your body.
