The Seventh All-American in History, Nicole Brown
With her senior season coming to a close, Nicole Brown is more than grateful to be a part of the Ottawa University community.
“Basketball was my first love, and I thank it for being there for me whenever I needed it. It saved me many times for sure,” Brown says.

Jahkoby Franklin
In 2016, at the age of 18, Jahkoby Franklin was recruited by his current coach, James Whittaker, for jumps and long distance running. He described this as a “shocking moment.”
Life Behind the Base Lines
“Alyssa is the life of Ottawa University,” Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach Hunter Bondurant says.
“You’ll see her knocking down open 3’s and leading defensive chants on the bench, but you’ll also see her assisting at pep rallies and playing a large part in our student government. Kids like her are what make this entire university run and we are blessed to have her in our program.”
